Jai developed her love for competitive sports at the age of 9 in track and field, swimming, gymnastics and basketball. Excelling and winning came easy with little discipline and dedication. As she continued to compete on a collegiate level came the realization of how much better she could have been with the right training and discipline. Therefore, as a former pro athlete turned personal trainer, she strives to provide that “right” training and discipline mixed with motivation to her clients.

Jai has continually set herself apart by excelling in male dominated fields. In her professional career, she is a 12 year Paramedic/Firefighter. Jai is also a former professional boxer who retired ranked #4 in the world. As an adult she began boxing as a hobby and a way to stay in shape. Not long after playing around in the gym sparring with some of the biggest names in the boxing arena such as Vernon Forrest and Robert Allen the thirst for competition was awakened. Jai took her natural athletic ability added the right amount of dedication, discipline and training – everything she lacked as a track runner – and a star was born! Jai began traveling around the world, representing the USA as the #1 ranked female amateur boxer in the country. Soon after being disappointed as an Olympic hopeful she entered the professional boxing ranks. She traveled around the globe fighting the best female boxers the world had to offer. Jai’s boxing resume also includes being the sparring partner for the great Laila Ali.

Jai turned her professional achievements and her love for staying physically fit and healthy into a passion to motivate and help others reach their fitness goals. She is not just that trainer who watches her client’s workout but she is that trainer who works out with her clients. Her program is successful because she incorporates the 5 components of fitness – power, endurance, flexibility, speed, and balance – to ensure maximum results for her clientele. Her specialty lies in strength and endurance training where she has found a niche in working with amateur, professional and college-bound athletes alike. Jai’s certifications and affiliations include: National Certified Paramedic, Fitness and Aerobics Instructor, CPR & AED Certified, International Sports Sciences Association, International Competition and National Champion, member of IDEA Health & Fitness Association.
